Frequently Asked Questions

Which variety of grapes do you grow?

We grow Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Syrah, and a Brunello clone of Sangiovese—each a personal favorite and thoughtfully chosen to thrive in our vineyard and shape the character of our wines.

How old are your vines?

Our vines were planted in 2010 and 2013, and we’ve been hard at work ever since—nurturing the vineyard and crafting wines for your enjoyment.

Do you serve food?

We don’t serve food onsite, but we absolutely encourage you to bring your own! Pack a picnic to enjoy with friends, or order from one of our favorite local food providers for pickup or delivery to the winery. You can find our recommended vendors here.

When did you start making wine?

We made our first wine in 2017 after spending two years training alongside another winemaker. The Ramona wine community is incredibly supportive, with a deep well of shared knowledge, and that collaboration played an important role in shaping who we are as winemakers today.

Are you dog-friendly?

Yes! Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome. We invite you and your furry friends to relax and enjoy our beautiful vineyard setting—your dog will love it just as much as you do.

How long do you age your wine?

Our wines are aged for a minimum of 30 months, allowing them to fully develop depth, balance, and character. The result is a beautifully aged wine that’s not only super delicious, but also ready to enjoy the moment you open it.

Who is the winemaker?

Gary and Ginny are the winemakers behind every bottle. They may agonize over the details (just kidding—they love every minute of it), working tirelessly to ensure each wine is crafted to be the highlight of your visit.

Do you host groups?

Yes! We’re happy to welcome groups of up to 25 guests with advance notice. Give us a call, and we’ll gladly help you plan a memorable visit, including coordinating with trusted local caterers to make your time at the winery truly special.
